Acupuncture Body combines acupuncture, herbal
medicine, guasha, massage, and exercise to promote
healing… Through these modalities the body is altered
biochemically and physiologically in order to achieve
balance.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the use of very fine needles into
specific points in the body. These points are precise
locations on a network of meridians that run along the
body’s surface. Stimulating or dispersing points work to
provide homeostasis and allow the body to work at its
optimal potential.
Acupuncture is most popular for its effectiveness in
alleviating pain. It also helps treat migraines,
allergies/asthma, fatigue and sleep disorders, arthritis,
PMS, menstrual irregularities, digestive disorders,
addictions, colds & flus, pediatric complaints and more.
Its unique approach tailors to each individual and their
imbalance. Acupuncture regulates the nervous system
and specific regions in the brain that are associated with
pain and pain perception, emotions and addictive
behaviors.
Studies have also shown that there are actual changes
in the tissue at the site of needle insertion, which are
believed to play a significant role in cellular changes at
the acupuncture points and along the connective tissue
planes.
Herbs
Herbal medicine treats a full range of human diseases -
acute, chronic and degenerative. East Asian herbal
medicine is especially good for promoting the body’s
ability to heal and recover from illness and aging.
Herbs are not only used for pain management, but also
as a comprehensive system of health care and health
maintenance.

Gua Sha / Cupping
The benefits of Gua Sha are numerous. It
promotes normal circulation to the muscles,
tissues, and organs directly beneath the surface
treated. Patients experience immediate changes
in stiffness, pain and mobility. Nutrients are
carried to the tissues and metabolic waste is
carried away restoring normal metabolic
processes and effectively removing blood stasis.
Auricular Therapy
Specific points on the ear when stimulated trigger
electrical impluses to the brain for specific areas
to be treated. Auricular therapy is known to be
helpful in smoking cessation and weight loss
programs.
Thai Yoga Massage entails gentle stretching,
palmar massage, and energy line balancing in a
rhythmic rocking pattern. This ancient form of
massage is unique in that it provides passive
yoga stretches, soft tissue manipulation and joint
mobilization; while improving one's flexibility and
leaving them with a sense of relaxation, and
improved body awareness.
Medical Massage is extremely effective at
treating a wide variety of problems, including
structural misalignment, sports injuries,
orthopedic problems as well as internal diseases.
Clinical Pilates
Excercise is the perfect way for patients to
maintain their own health. Through the
instruction of core excercises engaging the deep
abdominals and strengthening the
thoraco-lumbar region patients learn how to
move safely and efficiently. The neuro-fascial
system and connective tissue is enhanced
leaving patients with a new sense of body
awareness and ease.
